I’m a Senior Loan Officer and Branch Manager of Third Coast Mortgage Group with Fairway Independent Mortgage Corporation in Brookfield, Wisconsin. For the past 19 years, I’ve had the privilege of helping more than a thousand families achieve their homeownership goals—funding over $500 million in residential home loans alongside my incredible team.
I’m grateful to have been recognized by Milwaukee Magazine as a Five Star Mortgage Originator and by Scotsman Guide for production excellence. But truthfully, the real reward has always been the people I get to meet and the relationships built along the way.

With more than 15 years of experience in the mortgage industry, I am dedicated to helping individuals and families achieve their homeownership goals through personalized service, honest communication, and expert guidance. Over the course of my career, I have worked with a wide range of clients, helping them navigate the home financing process with confidence and ease.
I have proudly been with Fairway Independent Mortgage Corporation for the past four years and joined the Third Coast Mortgage Team in April 2026. My passion is building lasting relationships and providing a smooth, customer-focused lending experience from application to closing.
Outside of work, I am a proud parent of three children and call Knoxville, Tennessee home. When I’m not helping clients secure financing, I enjoy spending time with my family and taking advantage of the great outdoors hiking, camping, and just about any outdoor activity.
My goal is simple: to serve as a trusted mortgage professional who helps clients make informed decisions and feel supported every step of the way.
Amber Smith
Senior Loan Processor
Amber began her career in mortgage loan processing in 2020 and joined Fairway in 2021, where she worked with a branch based in Knoxville, TN. After briefly pursuing another opportunity, she returned to Fairway in June 2026 to join the Third Cost Mortgage team, knowing there truly was no place like Fairway.
As a loan processor, Amber is known for her attention to detail, organization, and commitment to providing excellent support to her team while helping borrowers navigate the processing stage with confidence. She takes pride in making the mortgage process as efficient and seamless as possible.
Outside of work, Amber is a proud mom of three and lives in the suburbs of Houston, TX. She enjoys spending time with her family and brings the same care, dedication, and compassion to her work that she does to her home life.
Alex Varebrook
Director of Marketing & Client Relations
Alex oversees all aspects of branding, marketing, and client experience for Third Coast Mortgage Group. Working closely with both real estate agents and homebuyers, she is passionate about creating meaningful relationships, elevating the client experience, and ensuring every interaction reflects the team’s commitment to exceptional service.
As a licensed Realtor herself, Alex brings a unique perspective to the mortgage process. Her firsthand experience working with buyers and sellers allows her to better support agent partners while creating marketing strategies and resources that help grow their businesses.
Alex is the proud mom of three daughters. When she’s not creating content, planning events, or helping clients and agents, you’ll usually find her cheering on her girls at their sporting events, spending time with family and friends, or enjoying everything Wisconsin has to offer.
